Buna-N (Nitrle) sheet gasket material is available in a wide range of durometers. The durometer of rubber sheet represents how soft it is. The lower the number the softer the material. Buna-n sheet has very good resistance to many oils and chemicals. The temperature rating of Buna-N is -20F to 170F

The most widely used 0-Ring elastomer. Excellent resistance to petroleum products. Excellent compression set, tear and abrasion resistance.
Does not have good resistance to ozone, sunlight, or weather, unless specifically compounded. Should not be stored in direct sunlight or near motors or other electrical equipment which may generate ozone. Temperature range: -40° to +250°F.
