Neoprene Gaskets

Chloroprene (Neoprene): Trade Names: Neoprene (E.l. duPont), Butachlor (Ditsugil), Bayprene (Mobay)
Moderately resistant to petroleum products. Good Ozone and weather resistance. Good compression set. Excellent for sealing refrigeration fluids such as Freon®. Temperature range -65o F to +250o F.
Neoprene gasket material comes in four primary forms; closed cell (wet suit material), open cell, diaphragm, and homogeneous. Each of these three types have styles, colors and density variations that make them unique gasket materials.

Neoprene Gaskets – The gaskets are made using neoprene rubber which varies in thickness, hardness and overall resistive capacity. They are typically black in color and can also be availed with or without adhesive backing.
